Detroit Lions and Playworks Michigan Team Up for 2019 #RealPlayersDontBully Event

Several members of the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders joined Playworks Michigan at Mason Academy for a Real Players Don’t Bully Pep Rally in conjunction with National Bullying Prevention Month. The athletes played recess games with students and participated in a panel discussion, sharing their personal experiences with bullying. This event was part of Playworks’ #RealPlayersDontBully campaign that aims to reduce bullying and increase inclusion by creating a generation of kinder, empathetic kids with caring, consistent role models.
