Eagles & Playworks Unite to Prove Real Players Don’t Bully

  1. Updates

On Monday, October 21, Playworks Pennsylvania teamed up with the Philadelphia Eagles for a special recess experience. Former NFL star Quintin Mikell spoke to students about modeling respect and inclusion as a way to work well with others and build leadership skills. With the help of the Eagles Pro Mobile he also led the kids in football drills, challenging them to learn about teamwork and inclusion through playing sports.

The event was held in conjunction with Playworks Pennsylvania’s Real Players Don’t Bully Campaign which aims to prevent bullying and increase inclusion at elementary schools by empowering kids to be more empathetic and kind to one another. This school year, Playworks Pennsylvania is ensuring that approximately 30,000 kids in more than 45 schools across the state offer safe and healthy play to their students.

Thank you to the Eagles for providing the kids this unique, engaging opportunity to get active and discover how to be their best selves.
