Detroit Lions Hosted a Real Players Don't Bully Pep Rally

  1. Updates

On October 23, Playworks Michigan partnered with the Detroit Lions to host a Real Players Don’t Bully Pep Rally at one of our partner elementary schools, Hutchinson Elementary. The NFL stars joined the kids in playing inclusive games, giving out lots of high-fives, and sharing the message that it’s cool to be kind.

“You never know what kids are going through, it can hurt, it can resonate, it can stick with them,” shared Kerryon Johnson. “So hopefully we were able to teach them to say more positive things and overall just stick together.” Check out the video below to see more event highlights and player interviews.

Thanks to the Lions and everyone who helped make this event a huge success! #RealPlayersDontBully
