Playworks Michigan Real Players Don't Bully Campaign

  1. Updates

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

At Playworks Michigan, we promote inclusion and respect in everything that we do. This year alone, we are helping over 17,000 students feel included and engaged in their school community by leveraging the power of safe, healthy play.

And our school partners are noticing a difference. Last school year, 76% of our partner school staff reported a decrease in bullying incidents and 91% reported an increase in students’ use of conflict resolution strategies.

This past October, we had celebrity supporters join our bullying reduction efforts during our #RealPlayersDontBully social media campaign. Celebrities partners, including the Detroit LionsDetroit PistonsDetroit City FC, Detroit native Carl Davis , Kacie Hollins, Justin Rose, Armond Rashad, 76ers, Breanna Stewart, Duke, Indiana Fever, Pacers and Tamika Catchings, took to social media to stand up for inclusion with Playworks.
