Tipoff Week with the Milwaukee Bucks!

  1. Updates

Playworks Wisconsin had an awesome Tipoff Week with the Milwaukee Bucks before their home opener! Our students and Junior Coaches were so excited to get to see the Milwaukee Bucks’ Rim Rockers and Bango at their school!

The Rim Rockers visited Rogers St. Academy and Browning Elementary School for some highflying trampoline dunks and to promote physical activity through basketball. Bango visited Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School to takeover a Playworks Class and teach kids about basketball and the power of positive language in sports.

The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation has a longstanding relationship with Playworks Wisconsin and regularly partners to promote physical activity, community building, and basketball in Milwaukee schools. To celebrate this great partnership and kickoff the season in style, the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation sent some of their team members out to partner in a series of exciting events for students all over the city.

Thank you so much to the Milwaukee Bucks’ Rim Rockers, Bango, and Milwaukee Bucks Foundation for being a champion of Playworks Wisconsin!
